The WESCO 4 ยฝโ angle grinder is a simple tool with a straightforward purpose. This is a hand held electric angle grinder designed for cutting, grinding and deburring during metal processing/fabrication. More advanced uses (at least for me) involve cutting pavers or tiles. Eventually, an experienced user will use it for polishing and sharpening. WESCO comes with three metal grinding wheels; other types of discs must be purchased wherever you decide to purchase such things. Like many tools, this one comes with a long list of precautions, all of which are described in the manual. Read and obey, earthling! An improperly used grinding tool can injure you or others. Speaking of the manual, I found it formatted shakily. The chart legend is hidden at the end of the guide, and the chart is the main page. I philosophize, I know... This unit draws 6 amps and spins at 11,000, which is enough to easily handle the needs of any home project and maybe even a DIY enthusiast. It weighs less than four pounds, which is reasonable. It is not difficult to assemble the protective cover and install the grinding wheel. WESCO comes with a handy wrench to tighten the flange that holds the grinding wheel; it was done in seconds. While I haven't used it outside of a test drive in my garage, this WESCO 6.0A 4ยฝ" grinder has all the reasonable power I need for an economical electric angle grinder in a (mostly) home setting.
