For many years I had a very persistent reef cyano problem that I just couldn't get rid of. I finally decided to dry clean. I followed the dosing instructions and simply removed the cup from the skimmer and allowed the water to drip back into the aeration pan. It took 3-4 days for the cyano to die. I then did a series of large water changes over the course of a week. It took about 10 days before I could use the skimmer normally again as it just foamed and immediately overflowed, even on the lowest setting. During the treatment I did not lose any coral or fish or anemone or crustacean or any other creature. A few months later I still have no issues with the Cyano and the tank looks great. I highly recommend this product.
