Can't style wet/damp hair?

Hard to rate/view. Technically it works and I don't think there is a significant problem with the device. I just don't think the concept/constraints make it effective. On the plus side, it didn't tangle or tangle my hair. I was very worried because I have very long thin thin hair and it used to get caught in other things. Each time he let go of all my hair without incident. Although I had to manually "pull out"/unwind some of it. I will say that you should release the forward button BEFORE you really want it to stop because it will keep working for a second or two after you release it. I agree with what other reviewers have said about poor instructions. Actually, I looked at similar products from other manufacturers to see how to use them. That was the only way I could really understand it. Basically, you take a small section of hair and pass it through the curler slot. You choose the temperature and press the forward button. Curls the hair inwards. Supposedly there should be a beep letting you know when it's done and then you can hit the reverse button and the hair will rewind. I never heard a beep. I waited at least 20 seconds, afraid my hair was being fried, and flipped it. It comes out a little messy and the strand is not smooth, but it comes out. The most interesting thing for me is that the instructions warn you not to use this on wet hair. I'm a troublesome wart so first I made sure mine was completely dry. But we all know that hair has to be really damp to be styled properly with thermal devices. So. It's a mystery. Maybe I think about it too much and the humidity is fine with this product. But I was afraid I would get electrocuted if my hair was wet, so I only used dry ones. The results were just OK. Very soft curls/waves in my hair. It came with some useful accessories and a very long cable, making it easy to use. The cord also rotates at the base, which is handy. The outside of the device does not get hot enough to burn you. So as long as you keep your fingers inside, you should be fine. I found I could put it on the counter without worrying about the countertop burning too.
