Review on Adjustable Laptop Stand Folding Desk Portable Table for Laptop with Mouse Pad and Cooling Fan - Use on Desk, Sofa, or Bed by Chris Bhatia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The laptop shakes every time I press a key on the keyboard.

UPDATE 07/08/20: It's been a few weeks now and the tremors are becoming less and less of an issue for me. The more compact the stand, the less wobble and I don't know if I got used to it, but it's not an issue anymore. I would like to add an extra star for the great customer service team. They sent me an extra stand to make sure I didn't have a defect (I didn't have one). I'm trying to give it back now, but it's great that they were willing to do it. Also, I found that reconfiguring my stand became easier as I used it. I definitely recommend it! UPDATE 6/21/20: After a few days of heavy use I have to say I've grown to love it. The adjustment isn't too bad as I know exactly how to set up the stand for my sofa, bed and table, but again I wouldn't recommend it if you need to constantly move and readjust the stand. My neck and back definitely feel less tight so they do what I need them to. The tremors have gotten a little better since I found that resting my palms on the laptop while typing reduced the tremors. I'm impressed with the company as after reading my review they contacted me and sent me a replacement to make sure I didn't receive a faulty stand. I'll update the info once I've tried the new stand when it comes out. ORIGINAL REVIEW: What I love about the laptop stand is that it's super light, keeps my laptop cool, and is functional (it helps me to stop, for example). limp). However, it seems to me, and perhaps all similarly constructed stands, that the stability is lacking. It shakes every time I type on my laptop, which is pretty annoying. The mouse pad is also not very stable and my mouse keeps falling off the pad. Finally, the whole thing is brilliant with the ability to set the legs at different angles, but the mechanism for doing this (which requires you to press a button on the pivot) is disappointing. If you're thinking that you can just quickly adjust the stand to fit the couch and then quickly move it to the bed and then back to the table, you're wrong. If you have to constantly change configurations, you will not like it. If you sometimes need to change the configuration of the laptop stand, that's okay. There are definitely better stands.
