Durable? Do you test high quality materials? Check. Smooth and durable ball head? To verify. Are your legs tense? Check. Does the camera feel secure when extended to its maximum height? To verify. Is the quick release plate easy to attach to the camera? GMBH! What do you think, this important plate is missing the D-ring function to tighten and loosen from the camera? And why does it have to slide back and forth in the slots on its head without "locking"? It's almost a deal breaker for an otherwise great tripod and I'm surprised it wasn't mentioned(?) in the review. . I read the reviews, did my homework but skipped it if someone else mentioned it. But now you know. Keep that in mind when making your final decision.
