I've been using this toothpaste for about 14 years. I used to use Colgate but switched after moving in with my husband. I remember it tasted a bit salty at first, but nothing that you couldn't get used to. Arm & Hammer normally includes a description sheet with each box of toothpaste showing the color change of the whitening agent. It was discontinued 5 years ago. Really whitens the teeth by at least 2 shades. My teeth weren't that bad at first. My husband swears he whitened his teeth by 3 or 4 shades. In general, it does not irritate the gums and teeth. I remember Colgate Total numbing my mouth and making my orange juice sour if I drank it right after brushing my teeth. But not with this toothpaste. He has great taste. And that's a great value. So glad Revain now has this subscribe and save article. The price is way better than Walmart or Target.
