This was delivered very quickly and neatly packaged. No problem with the chip outside the needle. It was visible inside but not a problem. The needle is big, but it has to hold the chip. Unfortunately when I tried to use this on one of my dogs she squirmed at the last moment and the microchip would not insert. This can happen if you don't have an assistant to keep the dog safe for you. It didn't really matter, it was just recommended that you have someone help you with this so the chip is inserted correctly. I went ahead and bought a double set from HomeAgain to chip my dogs instead of buying them individually. I would only recommend it for the speed of delivery, the packaging and the quality of the product received. Remove the blue protective tape before attempting to push the plunger. This is a safety measure to keep the chip in the syringe. Everything else was a mistake on my part.
