Review on 🎧 Enhanced Communication Experience with Plantronics Savi 740 Wireless Headset System by Mike Goodwin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Couldn't be happier. No regrets for buyers even considering the price.

Originally I didn't want to buy because of the price, I was fed up with cheap BT headphones. Almost one a month. This headset was one of the best purchases I've made in the last few months and it's well worth the price. I've used all connection options (USB, traditional phone and BT) with great success, but used a BT connection on nine out of ten calls. I didn't have any range issues either, and was able to go downstairs to the kitchen for a bite to eat with no problem. (The kitchen is just below the office on the 2nd floor) The battery life is acceptable and as long as I remember to put it in the cradle to charge every night it lasts a full day. My only complaint is if you choose to use the optional headband instead of the ear clips, hanging/docking the headset can be uncomfortable as the headband gets in the way of anything that might be on your desk besides the dock. I sometimes take the device out of the headband before docking it (which is very easy), but I'm hesitant to do it every time as I'm sure the plastic will wear down over time. This is just a minor complaint and relatively easy to fix.**Update** 05/19/2018 Still very happy with this purchase. In a previous review, I said that I have concerns about the headset's plastic fatigue. it was no problem at all. Constant daily use and the battery still lasts almost a full day with frequent breaks and even longer if I plug it in after each use, even for 10 or 15 minutes between calls. BT for mobile and USB for softphone on PC are my main connections and both continue to work very well. It's also worth noting that I was forced to move my WiFi hotspot about 18 inches from the base for a few weeks and was concerned about signal impact, but I had no problems.
