Wow, I love this collar. I have about 100 different ones (a bit of an exaggeration) and never had a "wow" reaction right after taking them out of the box. Toddlers prefer a collar over harnesses when exploring (less restrictive I think) and the various nylon and leather collars for their dog size were too flimsy and didn't distribute the weight when pulling a long leash (btw, biothane long leashes are BEST) . So, this collar and why I like it: - It's relatively wide but not disproportionate to its size so there's more room to carry the weight of the leash - It's very soft on the inside and padded all around. It doesn't have any friction issues (fur will do) but I think it's more comfortable than a thin nylon strip. It's quite strong but, and this was important to me, it's still very light. And finally, she looks cool. ;) She's convinced that she's a serious hunting dog, and that suits her better than a pink collar with rhinestones. I've been looking for a new collar for about a month and I'm glad I chose this one. Brilliant.
