Keep the manual handy as you'll need it to pair with new devices and change settings. I couldn't find copies of it online so I copied it to digital files as well. This worked pretty well because I could print the codes I use most often on the label, making it quick and easy to set up the scanner wherever I was. The Slower Speed setting slows the transfer of scans to your device. This setting is the only speed that gave me consistently accurate scans. I recommend trying this speed or the next higher speed (low speed) when starting out with this scanner. I tried the hand strap (included) but found it too tight and I also like to put the scanner down or in my pocket so I didn't get used to it. I removed it and preferred just the scanner without the tape. Again, make sure you have a manual handy. Also, it's a decent scanner at an affordable price. Boom! Easy choice.
