I'm making a cosplay costume for someone all out of stretchy faux leather. Although the packaging says it's not suitable for stretch synthetics, it had an appliqué of the same fabric. Sew not about it as it's quite thick and will surely glue your needle together if you get through at all As for some of the other reviews I wouldn't use this (or any hot glue or glue), instead of sewing - sticking the tape seams with anything is troublesome. I would only use this type of applique for crafts or costumes. not for clothes or anything that gets washed very often. Gluing is subordinate to sewing only where it does not matter. I cringe at taped seams and such because this is crappy work and will NOT take long. If you can't sew a basic seam or hem, find someone who can, or better yet, learn how!
