Review on GE 6 Outlet Integrated Circuit 14087 by Butros Allen

I was pleased to learn that GE's 2 pack surge protector power strips are reasonably priced. They had a genuine UL sticker and a warning that the surge protector would stop working if tripped by a power surge. It should be so. They are a bit big for traveling. I bought a much smaller street strip that also has a couple of USB fast charging ports. Others have noticed that there is no indicator showing whether it is enabled or not. This is easy to fix with white markers. I have found that the lights often burn out or flicker annoyingly. I like the black stripes as they are easier to hide in dark places. I also noticed that GE offers $50,000 insurance for anything damaged during a power surge, which is also related to the power strip. I would be interested to know how often this insurance actually pays out. No doubt this is outsourced to another company. But how do they know that a damaged device has been plugged into their power strip? It doesn't look like the photo is really proof of that. 🤷‍♂️Anyway, high quality extension cords available in different cord lengths at a very reasonable price. Pretty compact and lightweight if you want to use them for travel.
