Cons first: no night vision, and if you have a lot of stuff (I mean LOTS) between the camera and the screen, you may run into notches and lag. There's also no always-on mode, but it would probably waste a lot of time if it were enabled. However, I installed it on the tailgate pillar to look behind my Jeep on a long vacation. I needed my own hardware to get it working, but it wasn't meant for my particular setup. In general it works great! I could easily ride 20+ hours on a single charge. Of course, this depends on how often you use it. I turned it on in heavy traffic and when I passed someone, so I turned it on quite a bit and it lasted the longest: 90 seconds. Installation was incredibly easy, I screwed it to my rack and plugged the screen into the cigarette lighter socket; To be honest, it was harder to find hardware that I wanted to customize for my needs. One picture shows me charging it in my camper tent with a USB charger and if you see some corrosion in the other picture it's from the hardware I bought separately and not what was included.
