Love love love this extension cord. I use LED copper strings around my bed for a softer light before bed. These lights only use the remote control which is great. Except when I drop the remote behind my mattress, which is unsurprising and causes me to curse the 11pm storm while trying to move my mattress and find the damn thing. This little extended switch saved a life! As others have said, this is *not* an extension, it's an extension. I've connected my lights to an always-on remote and then I just use this toggle switch to turn them on and off. I've been using it for almost a month and I love it. I used a large tie clip to attach it to the headboard and it stays out of sight pretty well but within reach when I'm ready to turn off the lights and go to bed.
