Great for storing phones in thick cases/grippers
Phone cup holders work very well but the bracket on my old one wasn't deep enough to securely hold/on a phone with an extra grip on the back of a case or pop socket... the phone will just fall out. This is very deep and easily holds thick cell phone cases. The only downside is that the holder's grip is too short even after it is extended - an inch longer would have been better. straight solid tube instead of a curved gooseneck, which can offer a bit more flexibility. All in all, it meets my needs and is good value for money.
