Revainrating 3 out of 5

good sticks; Minor software issue

I would have rated this higher if it weren't for some minor issues. Firstly because the pair I have now are spares because the very first one I originally bought broke straight away. I changed nothing but the RAM sticks and got blue screens three times in two hours, the first time in months since I built my computer. Luckily I still had the Oloy sticks and had to find and test errors first. Revain was very easy when I asked for a replacement and the one I have now works as it should. but my second problem isn't necessarily with the sticks themselves, but with the G.Skill software that controls the lights. I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but the light will have some kind of glitching for a brief second, but it'll be happening all the time. will work properly and as the lights slowly fade they will all just flash to 100% brightness and then just turn off. Or when the light is off, it just flashes without dimming function. Another example is the function of a comet: monochromatic light moves along the streak of light. it moves normally and then quickly skips half the length of the strip. and I know it's software because the lights stay on when my computer is asleep and they run smoothly like there's no problem. They work better when my computer is off than when it is on
