I have been using this brush on my mother's hair for many years. They don't seem to wear out. I just like a new one ever so often, as they feel so good in hand. My mother is 98 years old. I needed a brush while styling her hair many years ago that would catch the hair, lift it and blend hairs easily on short haircuts. This one is perfect. Never pulls the hair! I use a small curling iron to set the curl, give it a light spritz to firm it up just a bit, brush through it starting at the front and moving to the sides in a way that one brushing lifts and blends right into the next with this wonderful Cricket Static Free hair brush. A light spritz at the end and done!
