Ok, I like a lot about this scale: the detachable display, the fact that it can hold up to 150 pounds and being cordless. So what's the downside you ask? battery compartment. yes, you got me right. I've had two of these (changed the first one because of this) and they both had the same problem: when it's time to change the battery, you have to take the batteries out first because the compartment is so narrow it doesn't move. Since you can't put batteries where you need them, trust me I spent 20 minutes, a hack tool and 3 broken nails on this problem. Of course, when I found out, the return window was closed 🤦🏻‍♀️. So in the end, given the specs and price, it might be worth tossing the dice, but open the battery on day one. Make sure you can turn everything off. And prepare yourself mentally for the return. It's possible I got two from a faulty batch. I'll take a look to see if the company offers a guarantee or a faulty service, but I think it's a great opportunity lol. I'll be sure and update when they do.
