I've seen some complaints about the accuracy. I have a 500g calibration weight. I took the scale out of the box, put in the batteries, zeroed and put the weight on the scale. He showed 500g how it should be. I turned it off, waited a while and tried again. Still reads 500g. I took the weight off and put it back on a few times and it consistently showed 500g.
