I connected everything according to the instructions. All I get when I turn the device on is that it displays "Err" and then turns off again. The instructions state that if "Err" is displayed, the sensor is defective and the manufacturer should be contacted. The manufacturer gives a 10 year warranty and I can send this new defective unit to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, but I only paid $23 for it and it would have cost me about $12 to ship it to them. I don't understand why I have to pay shipping when the manufacturer made something that doesn't work out of the box. Since I'm buying this from Revain, I just ship it back to them and they can pay for the shipping. Also note that the item is very light and the base is small. The material is very cheap plastic. I can't imagine actually putting a 110lb bag in it and it's sturdy and the scale can handle that much weight.
