Through trial and error, I found that placing the metal plate on the outside of my phone case worked best for secure placement. Pro: It holds my phone firmly and has a strong magnetic grip. Con: Removing the metal plate from my phone case left some residue. Overall, it's a must-have tool for any driver needing hands-free communication.
