Worn by Adidas for many years. Always the same black suede. A creature of habit but they are warm and work for me. In the 2 years since I last bought a pair, the price has gone from $40 to $80. So I chose this pair. Cheaper. I see a differential. Lighter and not as warm. Mileage is low, or mine is low, or my legs are fat, whatever. The suede doesn't look that durable, and while I went red this time (feeling I needed a little stylistic variation), I wanted to stay black. Not that it's bad, I like red, I don't know, maybe that's the coffee I'm drinking right now. I am a bit confused. It's good. If you close this, measure your legs, they can get fat without you knowing. Don't go for a walk in the woods after purchase, you may want to return for a larger size (and black). I expect them to burn out in 6 months. Unless my bone spurs pierce my heel first. $40 shoes / 6 months = $6.66 per month. I can live with it.
