I bought this to warm my feet at night at bedtime. I will heat it up for the required time in the microwave, and then I stick it between my sheet and comforter before I get into bed. It stays warm for quite some time and keeps my feet toasty! It was a great price for what it does! I really didn't have an outlet close by for plugging in a heated blanket, so I'm really happy with how safe I feel with this.
