I bought this router to replace an old Mercusys MW305R which has 100 megabit ports. Eventually: The speed from the provider is 300 mbps, everything is in order over the cable. The speed in the 5G network is around 130 mbps, but in 2.4G a maximum of 40-50 on a laptop. I connect my old Mercusys router and get 70-90 mbps on my laptop. It turns out that under the same conditions, an old router with 100-megabit ports, bought for 700, gives out 70-90 mbps, and a new one, with gigabit ports, for which I paid 2050 in the hope of getting a higher speed, gives out a maximum of 40-50 mbps . I tried various settings (channel width, chose different channels for 2.4G), and also ated the firmware to the latest official one from the Netis website, but nothing helped. In the end, I returned Netis to the store and bought a gigabit Mercusys AC12G there. The new Mercusys delivers 80-90 mbps on 2.4G and ~300 mbps on 5G, while Netis delivers 40-50 mbps on 2.4G and ~130 mbps on 5G. And the icing on the cake, speaking of marriage: returning Netis to the store, I found that they already had exactly the same router on the shelf, which someone returned shortly before me.
