Search the web for a tablet stand that can be used on the couch or in bed. This was my choice and I am very happy with the product. The design is chic, the cushion is soft yet firm enough to support a tablet, and the angle can be easily adjusted. I bought 2, a black for my husband's 9 inch iPad and a pink for me, for a large 12.9 inch iPad. It works well with any size. Harder to find tablet stands for larger iPads. You should read each product description and reviews to determine if the stand is big enough. The cover is removable for washing, but hopefully that will be in the distant future.
