I don't need to use my butcher knife very often, but when I do it's nice. When handled with a sharp edge, this cleaver quickly slices meat into chunks or into small pieces. Nicely weighted. Too bad there wasn't a suitcase. I cut out the plastic wrap it came in and added masking tape to make my own case. Not pretty, but works well since I keep the cleaver tucked away safely in my desk drawer.
