Review on Puzzled Velociraptor Dinosaur Woodcraft Construction by Duane Rogers

I had the exact same T Rex that my dad and I built when I was a kid. I bought this for my 5 year old who loves dinosaurs and skeletons. I think some of the negative feedback may have come from people who were expecting something bigger or different. I don't think it's a toy - it's more of a model and the instructions even say it can be glued together as it doesn't hold perfectly. But it's exactly the same as the one I had over 20 years ago and back then my dad used wood glue. This time I used hot glue and had no problems assembling it: the photo instructions show which pieces fit together by matching the numbers on the pictures on the paper to the corresponding piece of wood. It had sandpaper in it to smooth out any imperfections, but I only had to use it once: ours popped out and fitted together easily. It was even more than I thought. Overall it was fun putting it together with my son and he loves it. The price is also great, you can order more!
