Review on Kensington Hi Fi Headphones 9 Foot K33137 by Jay Swearengin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good sound quality and they help block out background noise very well

I think I only spent about $10 on these but they were a Lucky strike for my noisy workplace. I work alongside the creative department for a record company and the volume can be outrageous when you're trying to focus on practical things. I bought these headphones as a kind of Ave Maria. Sure, they're not considered 'trendy' like headphones, but they fit into the audio jack on iPhone and iPod classic and I can use them to block out distracting background noise in my workspace pretty well and replace the music of my choice, and they've been instrumental in that involved in keeping me sane. Colleagues have asked me about these recently and I can tell you I find them more comfortable in my ears than in-ears, and the padding around the ear helps really block out most background noise, which is far superior to in-ears. ears. . The only downside is that they're understandably bigger, heavier and chunkier than headphones, but the price of my sanity is worth it! And the sound quality is very, very good! The cable is long so it's easy to move around the desk if you also connect it to a fixed position stereo or computer.

Pros
  • Sturdy 9 foot cable and gold plated connector stands up to heavy use
Cons
  • Not bad but...
