I use this laptop stand on our kitchen island in the afternoons with a Dell XPS 15 on it and it works great. My height is about 6 feet 3 inches. and tend to wear thick-soled sneakers, and the stand is *barely* enough to work in a comfortable position (arms not strained, upper body not bent). If you're taller you might want to look elsewhere for a suitable bar table or scissor stand, but for most people this will work just fine. What bothered me the most was the hesitation when typing on a laptop. I'm happy to report that this is pretty much no problem. Especially if you press down on the laptop even slightly with your wrists/forearms. Very stable little stand that folds into a compact bundle if/when you need to move it or take it with you on a trip. Comes with a basic L wrench to tighten the connections, but I didn't have to adjust anything - it was articulated but still held its position well, right out of the box. The tray that your laptop sits in has some decent cutouts for ventilation. , while the bottom panel provides a convenient storage platform for your charger and headphones. etc. Highly recommended, really durable and well made product.
