Melissa and Doug's products are usually very good, but these lace beads are THE BEST! I looked at many different sets and chose this one for many reasons.1. Melissa and Doug's products are simply high quality.2. (a) I would like to give 10 stars for educational value.2. (b) There are INFINITE learning opportunities here. Different shapes, different colors, cube-shaped beads have numbers as well as dots for counting.3. They can be used for styling rather than lacing on a rope. The different shapes can provide endless possibilities for alternating "block towers" that you can build.4. 2 strings included. I think if you lose one. But to me, two means one for me, one for you, and we can discuss which bead to add to our strings next, or have a racing game, etc!5.
