The Good, The Bad, and The Humidity

I don't often write reviews but since hair is such a problem for me I feel compelled. I heard about this product from my hairdresser. Another of their customers recommended it. So as soon as I could connect to wifi, I started looking at reviews on You Tube. So excited! Yes, the price is pretty steep, but if you're struggling with silky thin hair, you're almost ready to shake your hand for better hair. I have inverted hair just below my chin, fine and wispy. When I first received the product, I styled my hair as usual (using dry shampoo, texturizing cream, heat protectant, volumizing products, volumizing blow-dryer, curling iron, etc.). I then pinned the top section of my hair up and started working on the strands that fell out along the way. I started at 300 degrees to try to minimize heat damage. I didn't "volume" the top layer so the compression wasn't visible. Yes, there was a volume jump! I could still see curly hair sticking through her. It annoyed me, but the volume was worth it. I did the last spray and am happy with the result. Money worth spending. Until I walked out the door. I didn't mention that I live in the south of the Persian Gulf and the air is often so humid and thin. Five minutes out and the apartment is back. I felt there was some texture there, but not much punch. I immediately went back and worked on a few areas, but at the end of the day there was no sign of my new product. I repeated this several times, increasing the temperature each time. This is a wonder if you don't deal with tropical humidity often. However, I can keep it in my arsenal 15 days a year when the humidity is not that high. But just spending a few days is a lot. I felt compelled to warn my southern girls.
