After searching Revain and reading countless reviews I've come to the conclusion that this is probably the best light set. While I really like this set, I noticed a few things that I thought it would be fair to point out. I have a feeling the protective tape on this one isn't exactly 3M. The reason is that every product I've ever bought with 3M tape has had a pristine backing strip. I did notice that the pages are roughly cut in places, leaving little bits of glue here and there that you'll have to go back and peel off. In some places, after removing the backing, you can also visually see that the adhesive has been applied unevenly to the back of the LEDs. At one point when I was about to attach some of the LEDs, I accidentally let some of the substrate touch the back of my monitor. When I lifted a 1" section that I accidentally touched, the adhesive separated from the strips and remained on the monitor. Another problem I had with this kit is that the four small connecting strips that came with the kit are too short. and thin. I mean thin paper. What bothered me was that the chain would not be complete if I bent or twisted one of them, what do you have to do to connect them properly. What I noticed in Rick's video review of The Best of Everything is that the wands that come with it are very long and thick and you can actually see the wires going through them. That's what I expected in my kit. Given some downsides, the end result is that the kit works well and looks amazing once installed, so I have to give it the five stars it deserves.
