The main purpose of my purchase was to be able to fit my phone in the nearest side mesh pocket. I don't like dash mounted stuff and the unit I bought that was supposed to fit in a cup holder didn't fit. I had no place for my cell phone. However, it does not pivot to the back of the seat. I don't have frequent passengers, but I have to take it off and put it on the floor behind my seat. I have a full car. Love the compartment for a water bottle, space for hand sanitizer, masks, nail files, eyeglass cleaner and more. Something like that. It would be nice to come back if I had an hour drive to work. Now I'm retired and don't drive every day or very far. I was traveling with someone else who obviously rarely has passengers. It took her a few minutes to make me a seat. At least now I can hang on and get one thing out of the way.
