Review on πŸ”’ AOOTF Stainless Steel Tamper Resistant Locking License Plate Security Screws - Fasteners for Securing License Plate Frame Covers on Cars & Trucks by Geoffrey Graham

It wasn't the quality I was hoping for, but it worked well.

So everything is fine with this kit. The brackets for adding screws to the underside of the license plate area were easy to install after drilling a fairly large hole. The screws themselves were easy to screw in with a small tool. I bought these to mount a reversing camera that attaches to the license plate. The screws that fit my screw holes were quite narrow at the head and actually went through the holes in my license plate. That includes these little washers and caps. They are made of plastic. The idea is that you turn on the washing machine and then put the lid on it. Well the camera I was installing was a bit heavy so I had to tighten the screws nice and tight to keep it secure. When I tightened the bolts, the washers broke almost completely. They still held the plate, but the caps they cover absolutely don't fit there. So I still have the special key guard, but the screws aren't covered and I'm not sure the plastic washers will hold up. I think I'll eventually replace the washers with metal. This item more or less did what I planned, but considering the washer/cap system didn't work, I wish I could have paid a little less for it. It would be nice if they upgraded them to a more durable material or made them with a better design.
