They are not red they are brown

I bought a brown and red pair for my boyfriend for valentines day and they are the same color. Literally one colour, although each is packaged separately with their corresponding item numbers. I understand that the exact color cannot be determined due to the nature of the material, but they are definitely not red. I can't wait to get her back.
