These are cute shoes and they look like they should be very comfortable. However, my daughter's legs are wider/plumper and after wearing them for a while they seem to bother her. They also slip quite easily (much to the chagrin of their caregivers). I have a friend who bought them for her daughter and they fit her but her daughter definitely has slimmer legs. My advice is that kids with thicker or wider feet are better suited to the traditional caiman style.
