Excellent replacement for the original bulbs under my 20 year old GE wall mounted microwave. These replacement LED bulbs should last longer than my microwave. Of course, I'm a former GE microwave repair tech, so I could keep it going for a few more years if parts are still available. The brightness is great! Imperceptible flickering when switching to night light mode as I've read from other reviewers. Cool to the touch which is a big plus as the heat from the bulb builds up in the lamp compartment and eventually causes the socket and associated wiring to become brittle and fail. Simply a great product. Had they been available when I made support calls I'm confident it would have been and the call would have gone through. No future replacements would be required. One piece of advice I'd like to give to anyone reading this review from a former technician who's now on his ass 😁, always unplug your microwave from a cupboard or wall outlet. Do not turn off the light bulbs from the control panel. Old bulbs become brittle with age and due to the high operating temperature, attempting to twist old bulbs out of their sockets can cause the bulb glass to dislodge from the lamp base and actually close the relay on the control board. . Now you not only need a light bulb, you also need a replacement control board. it happened to me Now the customer get a new control board for me! 😩 God you can say I'm retired I can't stop typing. Either way, it's a great incandescent replacement for a few bucks more.
