Don't worry about digital photo frames
The one I bought had a power outage and turned off the power after only viewing two or three pictures in the slideshow I set up (about 15 seconds). ). I assume mine just broke but I won't be replacing it because: The screen is ionized so you should only look directly at pictures. Controls not responding. The screen cannot be reoriented from the display. The images are horizontal. So if you have vertically oriented images (e.g. the posters I bought for display) you will need to rotate them in the graphics editor or they will only take up part of the screen.
