If you have an ironing board of this size, this cover will provide a great fit. The cover does not move or detach from the board like my previous cover did. It is well padded and the Velcro fasteners are easy to adjust. I would like to warn that this is not a metal surface, so it is not smooth. So when you use steam, the ironing tends to stick, so you have to separate it to move it on the board. It's not heavy, but if you're used to a slick surface that makes it easy to move your clothes around, it can be annoying. On the other hand, with a smooth surface, it is sometimes difficult to prevent an object from sliding off the board. In other words, nothing is perfect, but this cover is of good quality. Incidentally, the silicone padding at the end of the cover can be very annoying when ironing large items such as sheets or tablecloths, but it is sewn on and can be easily removed. And it really isn't necessary if you're putting a hot iron on your heels, which is probably what most people do.
