Review on πŸ”‘ Pack of 2 KeylessOption GQ4-29T Keyless Remote Fob Ignition Keys by Dan Olsen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very pleasantly surprised!

I was a little nervous about buying these remote keys because they were so much cheaper than the $237 the Toyota dealer said for just 1 blank key. Its price was $69 to cut and program its $237 key for a total of $306. With these two bundles of $33 keys and $90 keys for cutting and programming, my grand total was only $123. The only downsides are: 1. These keys don't have a Toyota logo on the back as they aren't an OEM replacement, and 2. Finding a locksmith willing to cut and program them wasn't easy. Some said they only program OEM remotes and refused to program them for me. The locksmith I used said they had no luck with the non-OEM remotes bought online, but was willing to try. He was surprised by their quality, but couldn't give any programming guarantee because he didn't supply the remote controls. /dot" is on the button side of the key, not on the back/logo of the remote. It doesn't affect their function in any way. The new remotes seemed a little lighter than the originals. When I checked their weight on mine Scale, a digital multifunctional food scale Etekcity, 11 lb 5 kg, silver, stainless steel (including batteries), 2 new weighed 21 and 22 grams Factory remote was slightly heavier at 25 grams Overall I would feel confident buying a keyless option remote in the future My only advice is to find a willing local locksmith BEFORE placing an order.I deducted a star for the difference in looks and for programming issues.
