This cable is absolutely unreliable. I originally bought it to increase the distance between my MBP and calDigit's TB Plus (which is rock solid). Two displays (4K each) connected to TB+. After switching to this cable, a display showed nothing. Then I decided to try it for my external G hard drive. The moment I reconnected the TB+ to the standard cable, the screens worked perfectly. But the MBP _repeatedly_ crashed. I finally found out it was the cable, went back to the original and now everything works "as usual". Conclusion: This cable is pure garbage. It did not work with a docking station or high-performance mobile SSD. It's not worth the €21 I paid for it. A complete disgrace and a complete scam. Stay away from it. (Just because the cable looks premium doesn't help that it doesn't work at all.)
