Review on Scosche GM1483B ISO / DIN Dash Kit Black - Compatible with 1995-2002 GM Full Size Truck by Matt White

I ordered this with a Clarion unit for my Tahoe and the installation was easy. Probably the easiest thing I've ever done. Tahoe Dashboard Detachable, No Tools, This Dashboard Kit has the EXACT same latches as the stock unit, AGAIN WITHOUT TOOLS, simply press the latches and remove the unit from the dashboard. Insert the new unit into the aftermarket stereo until you feel and hear the tabs snap and lock them in place. Ready. Reinstall Dashboard. I installed it in less than 5 minutes. It flush mounts like a standard stereo, so it looks very nice. I've had some dash kits sticking out about an inch or so from the stereo and it looked ridiculous. But not this one. Very good for the price. I would recommend this to anyone looking to fit an aftermarket head unit into their car.
