2001 Chevy Tahoe Alpine CDE143BT

2001 Chevy Tahoe Alpine CDE143BT. Threaded holes between Scosche and Alpine head unit do not match. I held the radio case in foil in the dash and bent the metal tabs of the sleeve into the dash. The biggest problem I see with this dashboard is the plastic bezel that goes around the radio bezel. This plastic frame has about 8 or 9 clips, but there are only 6 holes in the dash for these clips. I ordered this with a Clarion unit for my Tahoe and the installation was easy. Probably the easiest thing I've ever done. Tahoe Dashboard Detachable, No Tools, This Dashboard Kit has the EXACT same latches as the stock unit, AGAIN WITHOUT TOOLS, simply press the latches and remove the unit from the dashboard. Easiest car stereo installation *ever*

I've installed about 50 car stereos over the years, but I don't do it every day. But wow, that was easy to install on a borrowed '99 Chevy truck. I borrowed a truck from a friend to go buy furniture in a few states (my truck can generate tons of electricity, but it has tremendous mileage).
