I love rice but my husband doesn't so I bought this mini rice cooker as a gift. I've had it for about a month and it's great. Fill in the rice, fill in the water and press "cook", done. I wondered if the post-cooking heating function would cause the rice to overcook, but I ended up with the perfect sticky rice that I love every time. A rice cooker takes up very little space, is easy to clean and much easier than cooking on a stove. Keep in mind that to turn it off it has to be disabled, but it really doesn't matter. It comes with a measuring cup and instructions, but I used a 2 (water) to 1 (rice) ratio and it works for me. Added on 11/21/2019. It's been a year and my little pink oven is still working great. and looks just as good as the day I received it.
