So the facility I've been to lately has a totally outdated, terribly slow computer system that likes to freeze when I'm doing my charts. This pissed me off so much that I thought the tablet was fine, especially since I've visited many properties from this particular company. I did a bit of searching and I liked the look, the price, and the features included. First, the small keyboard is great. This is my first tablet and I really like the difference. It's not what I need when I'm doing point-of-care planning, but I really like sitting and writing acceptance letters since I've taken typing classes (are there any?) and I can type fairly quickly Pages using the keyboard. And I'm not the gentlest with the buttons either, and this baby holds up well and responds great. Also, it's lightweight so it doesn't move all over the place when I click (love the sound of the keys, likes to remind me of my typing days lol). The speed on the tablet itself is just what I need. . It has decent storage, fast connectivity, and lots of customizable features. I like that I can put it to sleep if it's idle for a period of time and that I can plug it into my main computer when I want to quickly transfer and delete files. My desktop and our laptop were recognized without any problems. The mouse is fully functional and responsive. Plus everything is small and light enough to fit in my diaper bag without weighing it down or taking up too much space from all the other things I now carry with me. Battery life is more than adequate, I usually don't need to charge until after my shift is over, which is just what I need to avoid being tied to my desk. User friendly too. There were no issues launching, setting up, and using it the first time. No hoops to jump through. In general, this is a solid, compact but versatile tablet with a good keyboard and mouse and protective case.
