Review on 🎉 Celebrations 2936-71 C9 LED Traditional Light Set, Ceramic, 25 Multi-Color Lights - Festive illumination for lively celebrations by Jennifer Rogers

I was looking for a set of C9 lightbulbs for my Christmas tree this Christmas. I was hoping to find an LED kit that looked the same as the older, less energy efficient kits of yesteryear. I found them online and bought them based on other reviews. This review compares this LED set to the old C9 sets. Out of the box, this set is very similar to the old lamps. The size and looks are similar, but they feel a little lighter in the hand. Plugging them in shows the biggest difference, they are significantly dimmer than traditional C9 bulbs. Other reviews have said so, but I underestimated how significantly darker they really are. I uploaded a picture to try and show the difference. The other big difference is the color. The LED set looks just like any other LED Christmas lights you've seen, the colors are brighter and cooler compared to the old C9. The image uploaded doesn't quite show how different they are live, but if you've seen other LED kits you know what to expect. The other big difference is the heat. The newer LEDs feel relatively cold after a few minutes when plugged in, while the older C9 models get quite warm after being switched on for a short time. I can't comment on the durability of these sets as I haven't used them for long. Personally, I was less concerned with the energy efficiency and more concerned with how similar they are to old lanterns. Unfortunately they didn't live up to my expectations so I sent them back. It shouldn't hold you back. If you like the look of new LED colors or are concerned about the heat build up of older kits then this is a great option for you.
