The caps were welded to the valve stems - (metal to metal) and I couldn't remove them. On the advice of the technician I put in the penetrating oil but could not remove it. The cost of replacing a valve, if needed, is about $140-$170 per tire - programming is required because of the sensors. Do not buy this product - you will pay a lot of money for damage!
