Review on Plantronics BackBeat Headphones Sweatproof Waterproof Headphones and Earbud Headphones by Sophia Wells

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible all round

I had a previous model of these headphones which I liked but unfortunately my dog thought they looked appetizing. I've used them for music at the gym, music or audiobooks at work, and phone calls at home - in other words, I've had them on my head all the time. A full charge of these headphones usually lasts at least a day. To be honest the reviews weren't very good for them but I couldn't find any complaints about it. you replace. Unfortunately, they deserve their bad reviews. First, they don't fit my ear as well as the previous set. Second, the sound quality is not that good. I don't hear the hum mentioned, but the audio is a bit foggy or static. It's not bad being a deal breaker if there were no other issues, but it sucks that the newer model doesn't at least match the quality of the previous model. The real problem with them, however, is the battery. lifetime and charging speed. They are incredibly slow to charge, with a battery life of just a few hours. For example, I left them charged all night, took them off at 8 in the morning and took them to work. They stayed off until 10am, when they only had 83% battery. I don't know if they didn't fully charge or if they lost 17% of their battery life when shutting down, but both options are unacceptable. Anyway, I turned them on at 10am to listen to music while working. At 11am I got low battery warnings and by 11:30am they were off and on again. It wouldn't even give me a workout let alone the time I'm used to. The charging time, which would have given me several hours with an old headset, gives me 30-45 minutes with these. so it goes without saying that they come back and I've re-ordered the ones that are actually worth crap.
