I was introduced to them by a friend when we were driving an ATV in the winter of 2022. I used his second set and it was easy to install in my helmet. What we both found very beneficial was the ability to warn the other when we encounter other drivers going in the opposite direction. We thought this would also work well for group rides in the summer as we could report corners on the trail or if one of us is having trouble instead of just chasing. So I bought my own pair to wear both helmets permanently. They were loud enough to hear through cars and the audio from the mic was clear.
