Bought 2 - Perfect for my specific needs

Yes it's a cheap (some would say cheap) radio but it's just PERFECT for my very specific needs. I wasn't looking for a boom in sound quality. I wouldn't smash the windows of my neighbors house or listen to the layers of a Mozart concert. I just wanted a small portable radio to play in the bathroom while I got ready in the shower. Yes, the plastic "chrome" buttons are likely to break, and yes, it won't be a family heirloom, but the retro style looks charming and I get the morning news and background music for a very low price. I bought two because my new house (built in 1966) has a full bath in the hall and a half bath of what I might call the "master bedroom". I love that it has a cord, but it also runs on batteries. I use a cord to conserve batteries in the event of a power outage or natural disaster. While I wouldn't call myself doomsday gear (unlike my sister, who has enough astronaut diapers, sealed coffee cans, non-electrical appliances, a fuel generator, and ready meals in her garage to feed an Army battalion), I'm from Southern California, which means earthquakes and firestorms . Compared to my sister's battery powered NOAA/HAM radio, which costs more than my house in Ohio, I'm sure this cheap little radio can come in handy. Anyway, the cute retro style will fascinate the zombies during the apocalypse. ; ) I hope this review helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
